The famous China 2000 supermarket has expanded to 2000 hotel as the organization sees gains from doing business in Rwanda.
The new hotel adjacent to the supermarket is a 3 star hotel offering budget accommodation to enable more locals to have a feel of a treat.
Located in the center of Kigali city the property offers complimentary services including free wifi, 24 hours hot and cold water, free printing in the rooms and private hotel parking.
While amenities on the agenda include Spa, bar, coffee shop, nightclub within the building among others.
According the 2000 hotel manager Eric Niyomugabo, the organization to come up with the hotel initiative due to the gains they made in the supermarket attributing the development to revised policies in doing business in Rwanda.
“People shall also easily locate the hotel and make bookings from the connection of the supermarket,” he said.
“Our company’s service goes beyond guest expectation, due to the fact our moto is “hard work for success,” Niyomugabo said.
He also encourages the staff on the benefits of hard work, which he attributes to have seen him get to top of position at work.
“If you want to achieve anything in life you need to work hard,” he added.
The hotel is partially opened and has 105 rooms including Executive suites, double bed and as well as single beds.
The good value economy hotel, clean with basic furnishing offers bed and breakfast ranging from frw120, 000 down to as low as frw50, 000. Checking in is accompanied by free snack and a free daily.
Accommodation is suitable for backpackers, large families, business travelers especially.
Full meals are served at the company’s restaurant called bamboo whose cuisine includes Chinese specialty and Rwandan cuisine.
